We encourage everyone to wear a mask and help us prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our local businesses, medical professionals, and neighbors are counting on us.

Austin Mask Exchange
If individuals or families cannot afford masks or find a mask that works for them, there are volunteer mask makers in our community that can make one for you. The more they know, the better they can try to meet your needs.
Triana Tailors
Call them if you need a free face mask, supply pending: 512–452–5544. “Due to high demand we will offer free masks (1 mask per person or a max of 4 for families) this will help to service more people in our community.”
Megan of Grow Edible Walls is also a Mask Maker for the Austin Mask Exchange. During the day Megan makes and sells mask for her company. She also has an opportunity to apply for a free mask as a part of Grow Edible Walls.

Austin Emergency Supply Foundation
For those who can afford to buy masks, AESF offers 38 cents per mask or 76 cents for the same mask + a free mask for someone else in Austin in need.
May Designs
May Designs offers protective face masks in a variety of patterns; shop will restock each day at 9am CST. Current ship time is 14 business days. The cost of your mask includes a giveback component. May Designs will be donating one mask to someone on the front lines: medical personnel, grocery store clerks, food delivery employees, etc. You will receive ONE mask, and May Designs will be dispersing the donated masks.
Slow North
For every mask ordered, a mask will be donated by Slow North. Selling basic, non-medical, three-layer cotton fabric masks with 7–10 day shipping.
SewKors
Selling kids size reversible cotton masks — and for each purchase, a mask will be donated.
Mask Challenge USA
It was started by local med tech company MedToMarket as a way to get people the masks they need and also support everyday heroes- such as volunteers, medical workers, and first responders. When people purchase masks, 85% of the net proceeds go to donate masks and PPE.
Mask Angels ATX
For each cloth face mask you purchase, Mask Angels will donate a mask to someone in the ATX community who desperately needs one. Each purchase also helps a furloughed worker support themselves and their families during this economic crisis.

$12 mask. Flavors Creative Group has made and sold over 300+ masks and donated another 100. They make each face mask in their studio using recycled fabric. Each mask is 100% sustainable.
$11-$13 masks. They are making non medical masks for the community and helping women supplement their incomes during this trying time. Most states have mandated wearing these for awhile so might as well look stylish and help people along the way. Order adult and kid sizes of all kinds on their website.
